All forces of slam dunking are safely absorbed by the heavy steel post, not the backboard. Adaptable to all rims, including 4" x 4" an"d 5" x 5". SYSTEM INCLUDES: One-piece 4 1/2" O.D. galvanized schedule 40 steel pipe with a 4? or 5? backboard extension. Limited lifetime guaranteed aluminum or painted backboard & post.
